Navy to Introduce Ship in Upper Lake : Shri Babulal Gaur

A ship will be introduced at the Upper Lake in cooperation of Indian Navy with a view to attract tourists. This information was given by Honorable Urban Administration and Development Minister Babulal Gaur during inspection of area near the lake here on Thursday. He informed that during his recent visit, Naval Chief Admiral Nirmal Verma has assured to provide a small ship in view of Upper Lake’s importance.

Shri Gaur instructed advisor to MP State Tourism Development Corporation Naval Commander (retired) Rajendra Nigam to make arrangement for bringing the ship to Bhopal. He also instructed that the process of developing a natural aquarium in the Upper Lake should also be started at the earliest on the lines of Boston, Main Island in Australia and Singapore. He informed that after beautification of the Upper Lake, the work of beautifying the lake situated at Sagar will be taken up. Later, the lakes at other cities like Chhatarpur, Panna etc will also be beautified.

Those present on the occasion included Bhopal Mayor Krishna Gaur, BMC commissioner Manish Singh and officers of MP Tourism Development Corporation, Fisheries and other departments.
