To make the contentious tendering system of the Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) transparent, a decision of adopting the e-tendering system was taken by the authorities recently. For getting a technical know how of the new arrangement, a two-day long workshop was started in the Mata Mandir situated office of the Corporation here on Tuesday. Department heads of the corporation are attending the workshop for assuring hassle free implementation of the new e-tendering process. Officials informed that tenders costing Rs 10 lakh and above would now be called through e tendering.
